Respect
Your preferences, privacy and choices belong in every discussion about your support.
Our focus is complex disability support: practical care, individual needs and the person’s daily life. Acquired brain injury and functional neurological disorder are distinct areas of focus within that broader approach.

Based in Officer, Victoria, Core Clinical Care welcomes enquiries about complex disability needs, community nursing, personal support and everyday living. Each referral is considered against the support required and available capability.
For people with complex needs, the practical details matter. So do choice, dignity, relationships and the routines that make a day feel familiar.
Our approach starts with listening, understanding the support required and discussing whether our team is the right fit.
Your preferences, privacy and choices belong in every discussion about your support.
Be clear about what support is being offered, the questions that need answering and the next steps.
Discuss responsibilities and how to raise questions or concerns about support.
Listen to the person and recognise the demands that complex care can place on individuals and families.
Review what is working and discuss changes when needs or circumstances change.
Include family, carers and professionals when the person wants them involved.
There is room for questions. Ask about whether the service is a good fit, staffing arrangements, communication and costs.
A conversation can help clarify the next step.
